Marathon Digital Shares Climb After Move to Small-Cap Index Announced

Shares of Marathon Digital jumped after the stock was scheduled to be moved to the S&P SmallCap 600.
The stock was up 19%, at $20.80, in midday trading. Shares are still down 11% since the start of the year.
S&P said after the bell on Friday that the bitcoin miner's shares would be shifted to the SmallCap 600 from the MidCap 400 and succeeded there by Aaon Inc. on May 8.
