MetLife Raises Quarterly Dividend by 4.8%

MetLife on Tuesday said its board declared a second quarter common stock dividend of 54.5 cents per share, a 4.8% increase from the prior dividend of 52 cents.
The dividend will be payable on June 11 to shareholders of record on May 7, the company said.
The new dividend, $2.18 on an annual basis, represents a dividend yield of about 3%, based on the company's closing share price of $72.22.
The company last raised its dividend in April 2023.
