Energy Down With Oil as Israel Response Seen Restrained — Energy Roundup

Shares of energy companies declined but remained sharply higher for the year to date amid mounting military tensions in the Middle East.

Oil futures slipped as traders bet the White House's opposition to an Israeli counterattack against Iran would help to de-escalate a standoff that has rattled global markets, traders said.

Natural gas futures ticked up, recouping losses after hitting multi week lows earlier in the session.
