Couche-Tard Adds Former Canadian PM Harper to Board

Alimentation Couche-Tard named former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper to its board.
The Canadian convenience store operator said Thursday that Harper, who served as the 22nd prime minister of Canada from 2006 to 2015, would bring expertise in leadership, governance, business and global affairs.
The appointment is effective immediately.
Harper now works as a consultant and is chairman and chief executive of Harper & Associates Consulting. He also serves on the board of Colliers International Group.
