Mattel Renews Jurassic World Licensing Deal
By Ben Glickman
Mattel has renewed its licensing deal to make Jurassic World-inspired toys and products.
The toymaker said Wednesday that it had renewed a licensing partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, a division of Comcast-owned NBCUniversal, to make products associated with the dinosaur movie franchise.
Mattel said it will continue to serve as licensee for Jurassic World action figures, playsets, role play, preschool, vehicles, games and plush products.
Mattel and UP&E also partner on toys related to DreamWorks Animation's "Trolls" and the Fast & Furious franchise.
