Glencore Eyes Shell's Singapore Units, Reuters Reports
--Glencore is looking at acquiring Shell's oil refinery and petrochemical assets in Singapore, Reuters reports, citing industry and trading sources.
--The Anglo-Swiss commodity trading-and-mining company is evaluating the assets, including plants located on Bukom island and Jurong island, together with Indonesia's PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical, Reuters reports.
--The units, which Shell said last year it would review, include a refinery capable of processing 237,000 oil barrels a day and an ethylene plant with 1 million metric tons a year capacity.
--Glencore and Shell didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.
