By Andrea Figueras
Zurich Insurance Group has appointed Claudia Cordioli as chief financial officer and member of the executive committee, effective from March 1.
Cordioli will succeed George Quinn, who decided to leave the company after 10 years, the Swiss insurer said on Thursday.
Cordioli joins from Swiss Re, where she is the finance director and has held various financial and business functions for more than 20 years, Zurich Insurance said.
The appointment is subject to regulatory approval, the company said.
