AngloGold Ashanti Appoints Richard Jordinson as COO
By Michael Susin
AngloGold Ashanti has appointed Richard Jordinson as chief operating officer with effect from Oct. 1.
The South African gold miner said Friday that Jordinson joined the group in 2012 and served in a number of operating and leadership roles.
He has 38 years of industry experience across the mining sector, the company added.
Jordinson replaces Marcelo Godoy, who has served as interim COO since July following the retirement of Ludwig Eybers.
