Dabur India's First-Quarter Net Profit Rose 5.4%

Dabur India said Thursday that its first-quarter net profit rose 5.4% as revenue grew.
The Indian consumer-goods company said net profit increased to 4.64 billion rupees ($56.0 million) for the quarter ended June from INR4.40 billion a year earlier.
Profit from its consumer-care business climbed 16% to INR5.58 billion, though profit from its food business declined.
First-quarter revenue increased 11% to INR31.30 billion.
