Jaguar Land Rover Owner Set to Build UK Battery 'Gigafactory,' Sky News Reports
--Jaguar Land Rover's Indian parent company Tata is set to build a so-called gigafactory in Somerset, England, potentially creating thousands of jobs, Sky News reports.
--Tata is set to choose a site in Somerset able to supply electric-vehicle batteries over a competing bid in Spain, according to Sky News.
--Tata--which is expected to formally announce the gigafactory on Wednesday--has held talks with the U.K. government on the size of subsidies it would get in return for the investment, Sky News reports.
