By Mauro Orru
Merck KGaA appointed Helene von Roeder to succeed Marcus Kuhnert as chief financial officer this summer following his decision to step down from the job and the executive board.
The German pharmaceuticals-and-chemicals company said Monday that Ms. von Roeder would take over the job based in Darmstadt, Germany, in July.
She previously served as chief financial officer at German real-estate company Vonovia until 2021, before becoming chief transformation officer.
