RELX Starts Year Well; Backs Guidance
By Kyle Morris
RELX PLC said Thursday that the new year has started well, with growth in all key business areas, and it backed its full-year guidance.
The FTSE 100 listed information-and-analytics group said it expects full-year underlying growth rates in revenue and adjusted operating profit to remain above historical trends, as previously guided. This should drive constant currency growth in adjusted earnings per share, it added.
RELX said that it has started the year well across all four of its business areas. The improving long-term growth trajectory continues to be driven by the shift in business mix toward analytics and decision tools, it said.
