Berkshire Hathaway Raises Stakes in Five Japan Trading Houses, Nikkei Reports
--Berkshire Hathaway Inc. increased its stakes in five major Japanese trading companies to 7.4% each, Japanese business daily Nikkei reported Tuesday, citing an interview with Chief Executive Warren Buffett.
--Mr. Buffett also said he will consider more investments in Japanese stocks, according to the Nikkei report.
--Berkshire Hathaway in August 2020 said it took stakes of slightly more than 5% in Mitsubishi Corp., Mitsui & Co., Sumitomo Corp., Itochu Corp. and Marubeni Corp.
