Overview
Our 2023 Sustainability Report highlights foundational elements of the sustainability program at Arcosa. We provide insights into our sustainability strategy, governance structure, and people-focused programs and initiatives at our Company. At Arcosa, we view our sustainability journey as a continuum and our 2023 report expands on our emissions tracking, environmental metrics, disclosures, and conservation initiatives. We also highlight our many products that contribute to a more sustainable future.

2023 Highlights
- Greenhouse Gas (“GHG”) Emissions: In 2023, our Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions intensity (MTC02e/$ Million Revenues) reflected a 17% decline compared to our 2020 baseline, tracking ahead of our 2026 goal. We continue to plan for future GHG Emissions reduction activities.
- Water Efficiency: Arcosa’s overall water consumption decreased year over year, with a 22% improvement in water intensity (kilogallons/$ Million Revenues) driven by continued conservation efforts.
- Safety: Arcosa prioritizes high safety standards across our operations. In 2023, lost workdays due to injuries declined more than 60% year-over-year. ARC 100, now in its fourth year, continues to drive a positive and proactively engaged culture of safety excellence that enhances safety progress and awareness throughout the Company.
- Employee Engagement: Arcosa launched its second Employee Engagement Survey in 2023. With a 55% response rate and an overall favorable company rating, we consider the survey a success as we work to understand and respond to the needs of our employees.
- Community Impact: Arcosa’s continues to support education in the communities where we live and work, with investment made to elevate families, kids, and teens to a higher likelihood of completing school and entering the workforce. Our 2023 Report highlights a selection of education-related efforts and other important community-focused work driven by our people and plants.
