ITT Nominates Christopher O’Shea for Election to Board of Directors
April 2, 2024-- ITT Inc. (NYSE: ITT) today announced the nomination of Christopher O’Shea for election to its Board of Directors at the company’s upcoming 2024 annual meeting of shareholders. Mr. O’Shea currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UK-based Centrica, a £30 billion energy company supplying gas, electricity and energy services and solutions with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
“We are honored at the prospect of having Chris join the ITT Board of Directors. He has vast global experience across the entire energy value chain and deep financial and strategic expertise from previously serving as Centrica’s CFO. During our thoughtful and deliberate approach to Board refreshment over the past year, we have added seasoned executives to further align director capabilities with the future growth and market expansion of ITT and Chris’ election will mark an additional step in the board’s evolution,” said ITT’s Chairman of the Board Timothy H. Powers.
“We are all very excited to have Chris join the board of ITT. With his success leading teams in the U.S., Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, he brings an important global perspective and diversity of thought about the geographies and end markets in which ITT operates today. I am humbled to have a leader with Chris’ expertise join me on the ITT board,” said ITT’s Chief Executive Officer and President Luca Savi.
