Carbon Footprint

What does Carbon Footprint mean?

Carbon footprint is a measure of the greenhouse gas emissions associated with a person, a company, or other entity, including, for example, the emissions produced by our daily commute or the food we eat. While the term implies a measure of exclusively carbon dioxide emissions, it is now often used to include all greenhouse gas emissions. The larger the carbon footprint, the larger the contribution to climate change.
