TransAlta Taps Joel Hunter to CFO Role, Succeeds retiring CFO Todd Stack

TransAlta has appointed Joel E. Hunter to the role of chief financial officer, effective July 1, and that he will succeed Todd Stack who is set to retire on June 30.
The Canadian operator of electrical power generation assets said Thursday that Hunter is currently executive vicepresident and CFO of TC Energy, a Calgary, Alberta-based energy company, and brings with him over 27 years of finance, capital markets and strategic planning experience.
Stack has served the TransAlta for 34 years, the company said.
