Energy Down on Inflation Doubts — Energy Roundup

Shares of energy companies slipped as traders rotated into sectors with less to gain from inflation.

SilverBow Resources rose after it agreed to a buyout from Houston rival Crescent Energy in a deal valued at $2.1 billion.

More than 2 million barrels a day of oil-sands output are at risk from wildfires in Alberta, according to research firm Rystad Energy.

Natural gas prices rose for the second consecutive day as U.S. storage grew less than expected, with a build of 70 billion cubic feet for the week of March 10.
