The European exchange-traded fund (ETF) and exchange-traded commodity (ETC) markets gathered €47.3 billion in July 2026, up from €36.8 billion in June, pushing year-to-date flows to nearly €266 billion. Total assets held steady at €3.22 trillion, essentially unchanged from June's €3.23 trillion. This stability masks an important dynamic: inflows were fully offset by capital losses, driven largely by a soft US equity market.
