According to the Complaint, the Company made false and misleading statements to the market. Inari touted its “record revenues” based on “the strength in our core VTE business.” In fact, the Company was spending significant sums to improperly compensate medical professionals for using its products. The Company was compensating health care professionals in violation of federal Anti-Kickback Statute and Civil False Claims Act. Based on these facts, the Company’s public statements were false and materially misleading throughout the class period. When the market learned the truth about Inari, investors suffered damages.
