By Adria Calatayud
Pernod Ricard's Sainte Marguerite en Provence wine brand agreed to buy France's Aux Terres de Ravel estate and its vineyards, a deal that is set to double the brand's winegrowing capacity.
The French drinks company said late Monday that Sainte Marguerite en Provence signed a deal to buy Aux Terres de Ravel, including its 280 hectares of vineyards, taking its total footprint to more than 500 hectares.
Financial details weren't disclosed. Pernod Ricard expects to complete the transaction in the summer, it said.
