--Mutual life, pensions and investment company Royal London is in talks to buy the bulk annuities portfolio of Scottish Widows from Lloyds Banking Group, Sky News reports citing unnamed sources.
--Sky reports that Royal London is expected to submit a bid for the 6 billion pound ($7.60 billion) portfolio next week.
--Royal London declined to comment on the report when approached by Dow Jones Newswires.
