Mobileye's ADAS uses multiple cameras, radar fusion
Porsche AG and Mobileye Global Inc. announced a partnership Tuesday, saying that future Porsches will be outfitted with Mobileye's advanced driver-assistance systems.
The companies said that Porsche engineers will tune and integrate SuperVision, Mobileye's ADAS suite, in the vehicles, which start around $60,900 and quickly go up from there.
Mobileye (MBLY) in September announced a similar partnership with Chinese auto maker Geely .
Mobileye, spun off Intel Corp. (INTC), returned to capital markets in October.
Mobileye's ADAS suite uses 11 cameras and supporting radar-fusion perception to direct cars to perform tasks such as autonomously change lanes and navigate a preselected route.
