Telecom Italia Chief to Meet With Elliott Management -FT
--The Chief Executive of Telecom Italia, Amos Genish, will meet representatives of activist investor Elliott Management on Friday, the Financial Times reports.
--Mr. Genish, however, said a board shake-up would not be in the interests of shareholders, the FT says. --Elliott has built a shareholding in Telecom Italia, and this week said that "governance, valuation, strategic direction...would be improved by replacing certain members of the board," the FT reports.
