More Than 900 Miners Trapped in Sibanye Mine in South Africa -Mail & Guardian

--More than 900 miners are trapped underground at one of Sibanye Gold's mines in South Africa after a storm caused an electric cable outage on Wednesday night, South African news outlet Mail & Guardian reports.

--A Sibanye spokesman said all the miners are accounted for and safe, and operators are trying to restore power to the shaft to allow for the workers' evacuation, according to the Mail & Guardian.
