Saint-Gobain's CSR to Sell Badgerys Creek Property in Australia for $371.1 Million

  Saint-Gobain said CSR agreed to sell its Badgerys Creek property for A$575 million ($371.1 million). 



  Saint-Gobain acquired CSR, an Australian building materials company, in July 2024. The Badgerys Creek site--adjacent to the new Western Sydney Airport--is part of CSR's property assets that were identified as monetizable in the medium term by Saint-Gobain at the time, the French construction company said. 



  The disposal of Badgerys Creek and other CSR property assets that have already been sold will bring CSR property assets already monetized to A$900 million, Saint-Gobain said. Altogether the company identified at least $A1.3 billion of CSR property assets that could be monetizable. 



  The transaction is set to be completed in December. 



  Saint-Gobain didn't identify the buyer, and wasn't immediately available for further comment.
