UBS Might Delay 2Q Result Amid Credit Suisse Takeover, the Financial Times Reports
-- UBS Group is considering delaying the publication of its second-quarter results until the end of August amid its acquisition of peer Credit Suisse Group, the Financial Times reported Sunday citing unnamed sources.
-- At that time, UBS executives might also update investors on their plans for Credit Suisse's domestic business, the sources told the Financial Times.
-- UBS is scheduled to report its second-quarter results on July 25, but a notice on its website says publication "may change depending on the timing of the closing of the anticipated acquisition of Credit Suisse." The bank said Monday that it expects to complete its acquisition of Credit Suisse as early as June 12.
-- A spokesman for UBS declined to comment when approached by Dow Jones Newswires.
