Ecopetrol Names Ricardo Roa Barragán as CEO

Ecopetrol S.A. on Wednesday said it named Ricardo Roa Barragán chief executive officer, effective April 30.
Mr. Barragán succeeds interim CEO Alberto Consuegra Granger, who began the position April 1, following former CEO Felipe Bayón's departure.
The Colombian petroleum refineries company said Mr. Barragán has previously served as the CEO of Grupo Energía de Bogotá S.A. E.S.P., Transportadora de Gas Internacional, and the general management of Empresa Energía de Honduras EEH.
