ADRs End Higher, Arc Minerals, Posco Holdings Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed mostly higher on Friday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts rose 0.4% to 152.10. The European index increased 0.4% to 147.55, the Asian index climbed 0.6% to 176.66, the Latin American index fell 0.5% to 186.62 and the emerging markets index rose 0.02% to 294.93.
ADRs of Arc Minerals Ltd. on Friday jumped 17% to $4.05 after the mining group said an extension has been agreed with its joint venture partner--a subsidiary of Anglo American PLC--regarding its copper-cobalt project in Zambia.
ADRs of Posco Holdings Inc. gained 6.1% to $69.69 amid market expectations that it would return to a profit in the first quarter after a flood-damage recovery and expand its promising battery-materials business.
