IA Financial Creates Sustainability Bond Framework

IA Financial Corp. said Thursday that it has created a bond framework to enhance the company's ability to finance its sustainability strategy.
The Canadian insurance company said that under the framework it will allocate an amount equal to the net proceeds from the issuance of green, social or sustainability bonds towards financing or refinancing new or existing eligible assets that meet its criteria.
The company said it will publish an annual sustainability bond allocation and impact report until full allocation of the proceeds.
