CGI Gets $100 Million Military Deal

By Matt Grossman

CGI Inc. has received a $100 million task order from the Defense Intelligence Agency to improve the agency's data-processing functions, the Fairfax, Va.-based IT firm said Tuesday.

The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options, CGI said.

The task order involves creating a transition database that will eventually allow the DIA to shift to a new data system called the machine-assisted rapid-repository system. The interim database will serve until the new data environment is ready to take over functionality, CGI said.
