H&M to Close 30 Stores in Spain, Affecting Up to 1,100 Employees -El Economista

--Swedish retailer H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB will close 30 of its stores in Spain over the next year as part of a reorganization of its structure in the country, with a maximum 1,100 employees affected, financial daily El Economista reports, citing the company.

--The closures, which are planned to be completed this year but could continue into 2022, come amid the continued growth of online channels, and are part of a wider global restructuring, El Economista reports.
