Boeing Co. (BA) shares rose 3% to $381.48 Wednesday.

Boeing's Chief Executive Dennis Muilenburg said at an industry conference that the company said is still aiming for "early fourth quarter" for the 737 MAX to return to service.

Mr. Muilenburg said Boeing is sticking to its plan to ramp up to monthly output of 57 jets by the end of next year, having trimmed to 42 in April.
