    Stock prices rose Thursday morning, with the Morningstar US Market Index gaining 0.57%, led by gains in communication services stocks.

  • Sectors

    All 11 stock sectors were up over Wednesday‘s close. Gains were led by communication services, which was up 1.27%; and financial services, up 1.08%.

  • Morningstar Style Box

    The Morningstar Style Box was also up across the board. Small value stocks led the way with a 1.05% increase while large growth trailed the rest of the style box with a 0.23% gain.

  • Movers

    Tesla (TSLA) was the most-actively traded stock Thursday morning, losing 2.46% to $151.68 per share. Among other actively traded stocks, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd (TSM) was down 3.8% to $133.75, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) was up 1.25% to $155.93, and Snap (SNAP) was up 5.92% to $11.54 per share.
