Global Sustainable Fund Flows: Q1 2024 in Review

In the first quarter for 2024, global sustainable funds rebounded slightly by attracting nearly USD 900 million of net new money, compared with small, restated outflows of USD 88 million in Q4 2023. Despite the overall decline, European sustainable funds remained resilient and registered almost USD 11 billion of inflows, more than double the subscriptions of the previous quarter. On the other hand, U.S. sustainable funds saw its worst-ever quarter with USD 8.8 billion in outflows.
