What is the issue with Morningstar Quantitative Rating published on Oct 31, 2020 and Nov 30, 2020?

Morningstar moved the processing of our Morningstar Quantitative and Pillar Ratings to a new platform November 2020. Certain input data with the new platform had errors in it which resulted in some of the Morningstar Quantitative Ratings published as of Oct 31, 2020 and Nov 30, 2020 unintentionally consumed missing and incorrect data as part of its process to generate the final ratings.

The security universes impacted are: Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

We are now expecting Dec. 31, 2020, Morningstar Quantitative Ratings to be published the week of Jan. 25, 2021. Until then, we are preemptively removing all Morningstar Quantitative Ratings (Overall Rating, Parent Pillar, People Pillar, Process Pillar) published on those dates out of an abundance of caution and will display the current Morningstar Quantitative Ratings as of Sept.30, 2020 in products, data feeds, and reports.
