Nick Spratt will join MFS International New Discovery’s management team as a comanager on Sept. 1, 2021. Spratt has a solid resume. He had ample investment experience--including four years of portfolio-management experience--when he joined MFS in 2017, and he has served as an equity analyst and worked closely with a variety of MFS managers during his time at the firm. Jose Luis Garcia, who has been a comanager since 2007 and is responsible for stock selection in Latin America, will retire from MFS and give up his role on this fund on April 15, 2023.
