On April 28, 2023, Delaware Smid Cap Growth will change its name to Delaware Mid Cap Growth Equity and change its prospectus benchmark to the Russell Midcap Growth Index from the Russell 2500 Growth Index, according to a recent regulatory filing. The changes are unsurprising and do not affect the fund’s Morningstar Analyst Ratings. The news follows the December 2022 replacement of the fund’s prior manager with Kim Scott, Nathan Brown, and Brad Halverson. Scott and Brown have for many years exclusively managed mid-cap funds, including Delaware Ivy Mid Cap Growth, to which this fund is likely to bear a strong resemblance going forward.
