Summary

We have upgraded the People rating of Calvert Ultra-Short Duration Income to Above Average from Average. While the core portfolio management duo of Vishal Khanduja and Brian Ellis remains unchanged, the broader integration process between the previously separate Calvert, Eaton Vance, and Morgan Stanley fixed-income groups has now been largely completed. This provides the portfolio managers access to considerable analytical and trading resources globally, complementing their own experience with access to teams that are highly regarded by Morningstar analysts covering them, such as bank loans and high yield. Khanduja and Ellis have managed the strategy since 2016 and 2012, respectively.
