On Oct. 17, Brown Capital Management announced that Fujun Wu has joined its Small Company team. Like the rest of the now seven-member team, she will serve as both a portfolio manager and an analyst. Wu arrives at a time when the Small Company team’s leader, Keith Lee (who is also Brown Capital’s CIO), is doubling as the interim head of the firm’s international team, which has lost two key members since July. Wu’s hiring isn’t directly tied to those issues, but it is convenient. Lee, for his part, remains an active contributor on the Small Company strategy. Thus, Brown Capital Management Small Company retains its High People rating.
