A growing coalition of countries, businesses, and institutions have pledged to pursue net-zero emissions, or the amount that nature can re-absorb, by 2050. While that date may seem far off, investors are feeling the effects of climate change today. 

As climate-related risks intensify, regulations on corporate emissions and climate-related financial disclosures are gaining steam. Many jurisdictions now require reporting based on the Task Force for Climate Disclosures framework and recommendations. 

Asset managers need to prepare for mandatory reporting standards and be ready to disclose how they consider climate risks and opportunities.
