Tianqi’s and Ganfeng’s Profits Soared in Sync With Lithium Price Recovery

Chinese lithium producers Tianqi and Ganfeng both reported soaring net profit growth for the first quarter thanks to the recovery of lithium prices that led to an improvement in gross margins. Tianqi also booked a 2 times gain in equity income from Sociedad Quimica Y Minera De Chile SA, or SQM.
