John Coumarianos

John Coumarianos is a mutual fund analyst for Morningstar. This is his second tour on the fund analyst team, after spending time analyzing REITs for Morningstar's equity analyst team. Coumarianos covers the American Funds and writes Morningstar's American Fund Family Report. He also covers the Oakmark family of funds. Coumarianos worked at Fidelity Investments for five years as an investments representative.

Coumarianos holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Columbia University, a master's degree in government from the University of Virginia, and has completed doctorate coursework in political science at Boston College.
