Elbie Louw

Elbie Louw is a senior manager research analyst for Morningstar Holland BV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. She covers fixed-income funds.

Before joining Morningstar in 2022, Louw worked in academia and the private sector for 20 years, focusing on portfolio management. As an investment consultant and analyst, she conducted portfolio construction, tactical asset allocation, and mutual fund manager research.

Louw holds a doctorate in financial management sciences from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designations.
