Michael Colao is an associate equity analyst on the communication-services team for Morningstar Research Services LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc.

Before joining the equity research team in 2021, Colao joined the Morningstar Development Program as a customer support representative. Prior to that, he was a financial analyst for Capitol Lakes Financial, helping manage client portfolios.

Colao holds a bachelor's degree in economics and international studies with a certificate in economic development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
