Allen Cheng

Allen Cheng is an equity analyst for Morningstar (Shenzhen) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. He covers consumer staples and information technology firms.

Before joining Morningstar in 2016, he spent six years as portfolio manager and equity analyst for Fubon Asset Management and Value Partners Concord Asset Management, where he managed a Greater China equity fund and covered variety of sectors, including consumer stables, energy, industrials, and information technology firms.

Cheng holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Waterloo and a master’s degree in finance from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
