At face value, these two funds could not be more alike. A closer look reveals significant differences.

There is a pair of emerging-markets stock exchange-traded funds that speaks volumes about the dyna­mism of ETFs as an investment vehicle and the diver­sity of the investor base that uses them. At face value,  iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM) and iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (IEMG) could not be more similar. Upon closer inspection, they could not be more different.
