Invesco to Offer an Aggressive Global Growth Fund
Fund will join the Denver firm's hedge fund-like Counselor Series.
Invesco Funds' new line-up of hedge fund-like offerings is about to go global. The Denver-based family plans to offer a new, aggressively managed Global Growth Fund in December as part of its load-carrying Counselor Series of mutual funds, according to documents filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
John R. Schroer, who currently manages Invesco Health Sciences (FHLSX), will run Global Growth. It will be the second of Invesco's Counselor Series funds. The firm first introduced the lineup in July as the Advantage series when it unveiled its hedge fund-like Invesco Advantage (IADAX), but decided to change the moniker for the series to avoid confusion, a spokeswoman said.
