U.S. benchmarks were continuing to make headway Tuesday as intraday records were once again broken shortly after the day's opening bell rung.
Investors have been watching the Dow Jones Industrial Average slowly nudge its way toward the 20,000 level--the index had climbed around 80 points in the morning and was on pace to finish Tuesday with its seventh-straight win. Though the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite Index finished lower on Monday, the two indexes opened trading in the green. While some analysts are forecasting the rally in equities to continue, others believe the post-election gains will pull back quite soon.
