Thanksgiving means turkey is the main dish this week, with only a few side dishes of earnings and data.

In technology, both HP Inc and Hewlett Packard Enterprise will report on Tuesday. Tim Feeney, who covers the firms for Morningstar, sees long-term headwinds for the retail business and thinks the jury is still out on the enterprise side's bet that hybrid on-location/cloud data centers are the future.

Tuesday will also see the release of the minutes of the most recent Fed meeting. These will be scrutinized for signs that the Fed is in fact going to raise rates in December as the market is expecting.

We'll also get some housing data, durable goods orders, and consumer sentiment.
